Welcome to North Cronulla Nippers and we hope you enjoy your last season at North Cronulla SLSC Nippers.

This season, you child will continue to learn about surf awareness, surf safety, surf life saving and Patrol duties and will be able to compete at regular Sunday events and surf carnivals held in the Sydney Branch area and NSW State Championships.

This season will see the introduction of fiberglass racing boards called "mals" and please remind your kids and parents to look after the club supplied boards and ensure they are washed down after use and stored safely back in the gear complex.

Major activities this season include:

• Under 14 Trip to Queensland
• Start of Patrol duties at North Cronulla SLSC
• Gaining Surf Rescue Certificate for new and existing members.

The Surf Rescue Certificate provides participants with the skills and knowledge of basic patrolling and surf awareness in order to be able to participate in lifesaving operations and act in the role of Water Safety Personnel.

We hope you and your child enjoy the North Cronulla experience, our aim is to organise "Safe Family Fun Days" for all to enjoy. Look forward to see you on the Beach and around our pool.
